Epimedium x rubrum "Barrenwort" has green leaves, tinged red in spring that transforms in to a striking red color in autumn. Low mound forming and produces small sprays of crimson flowers with yellow outer edges in mid to late spring. Wonderful grounder for shaded areas also produces log lasting cut flowers.
